The event I booked was cancelled due to Covid and no refund offered even after countless emails. I know the situation is bad for everyone but I desperately need the money and to not even dignify a response is rubbish tbh.
AVOID!
DONT BOOK WITH THESE SCAMMERS!!!
Terrible customer service, incredibly difficult to get hold of. Cancelled an event I had booked for group of 6 due to rain. Have been trying to contact them for past 5 days and just had radio silence.
Avoid these scammers at all cost.

Literally been a life saver in planning things to do since lockdown kind of ended, tried booking a table elsewhere but found it on these guys, supprot team helped me with a special message to the venue too as it was a big birthday, big thank youuuu!!
The forms are stupidly long just to book a pub, then get a cancellation email a week later
Booked an event though design my night which was cancelled due to COVID . We are now trying to get a refund for tickets and design my night just wash their hands and push you on to the event organiser - immersive events - who are being uncooperative and withholding a full refund
Booked a Birthday post lockdown lunch . Received confirmation straight away and then a cancellation a week later !! Impossible to find alternative options now. Absolute rubbish .
On the surface you think this is an agent but the small print says they are a platform only and if you have any issues to contact the organiser.
So I buy tickets on this site for the Faulty Towers dining experience receive no other correspondence to say it has been postponed or cancelled.
We turn up at the venue and the kind Concierge tells us right venue but this event has not run for a year and she was surprised tickets are being sold as the organiser has not confirmed when they are resuming with the venue.
On the way home, I looked on Trustpilot, read of similar issues, swallowed by regrets, emailed the organiser as instructed, received automatic non helpful response and section 75'd.
System works fine, but I honestly don't see the point in "enquiring", you either have a table or not. OpenTable does this so perfectly. Table available = booked. No table = don't allow booking. In fact I think I cause more admin for restaurants because I'm booking several places at once, hoping one will have space.
Pointless writing this review as DesignMyNight is probably making a fortune from all these bars using the software, but what a crap market leader.
Booked a online event which I was really looking forward to for my birthday. No email prior to event for online joining instructions. No reply to email requesting further info. After reading other reviews concerning to hear about refunds. Will not be using this service again.
Customer service team were a huge help recently getting tickets changed cause of covid! Popped me a contact for the event people and it was really handy, can't wait to buy more experiences once things open!

So, you try to book a venue. You get an email purportedly from the venue (but actually from designmynight) saying that bookings are only taken with a prepayment. The prepayment offers drinks vouchers and a "sharing platter" for the table.
Arrive at the venue, and you're presented with an envelope of vouchers. No sharing platter. The vouchers only cover 99% of any individual order. And you can only use 1 at a time. This means you order a beer, you have to add a separate credit card payment of 4p. Order a Bacardi, add 7p. Order food, add 9p. Spend the night re-registering your credit card for each individual drink order, in the poorly designed app, and paying a matter of pence. Your bank will also text you and ask why you are repeatedly trying to pay 4p by credit card.
When the venue manager tells you to simply give up and to contact DesignMyNight (Collins ticketing) who will refund the vouchers that clearly don't work, then you find out that they genuinely couldn't give a damn. They actually suggest you go back to the venue and waste another few hours trying to spend their ridiculous vouchers.
Rank amateurs, deceitful and not to be trusted.

Had a group booking of HipHop Brunch with friends as a group of 8. Due to the government guidelines of no more than 6 people in a group to socialise, 2/8 people are not able to attend.
They have refused to refund us for two of the tickets, given they were booked prior to restrictions. The website is still advertising group bookings above 6 - listing no COVID-19 update!
They even cancelled, rearranged, then rearranged again back to the initial date.
Extremely poor service!
